What may interact with Balversa?

Do not take this medicine with any of the following medications:

-dofetilide
This medicine may interact with the following medications:

-antiviral medicines for HIV or AIDS
-certain medicines for fungal infections like fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole, and voriconazole
-certain medicines for seizures like carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin
-clarithromycin
-conivaptan
-cyclosporine
-digoxin
-enzalutamide
-grapefruit or grapefruit juice
-idelalisib
-mitotane
-nefazodone
-rifampin
-St. John''s Wort

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Balversa?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-eye disease, vision problems
-high levels of phosphorous in the blood
-an unusual or allergic reaction to erdafitinib, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Balversa?

Your vision and blood may be tested before and during use of this medicine.
Tell your doctor or health care professional right away if you have any change in your eyesight.
This medicine may cause dry eyes and blurred vision. If you wear contact lenses you may feel some discomfort. Lubricating drops may help. See your eye doctor if the problem does not go away or is severe.
Do not become pregnant while taking this medicine or for 1 month after stopping it. Women should inform their doctor if they wish to become pregnant or think they might be pregnant. Men should not father a child while taking this medicine and for 1 month after stopping it. There is a potential for serious side effects to an unborn child. Talk to your health care professional or pharmacist for more information. Do not breast-feed an infant while taking this medicine or for 1 month after stopping it.
This medicine may interfere with the ability to have a child. Talk with your doctor or health care professional if you are concerned about your fertility.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children. Store between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
