  • Vomiting
  • Flushing
  • Nasal congestion
  • Back pain
  • Muscle aches or pain in the arms and legs

Please contact your doctor if these side effects are severe or do not go away over time. Other side effects of Cialis can be more serious. You should stop taking Cialis and get in touch with your healthcare provider immediately if you experience:

  • Sudden vision changes, including decreased vision, loss of vision, or changes in color vision (seeing a blue tinge around objects)
  • Sudden hearing changes, including decreased hearing, loss of hearing, ringing in the ears
  • Hives, rash, blistering, or peeling of the skin
  • Dizziness
  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Swelling of the lips, mouth, throat, hands, feet
  • An erection lasting more than 4 hours

The above list may not include all the potential side effects of Cialis. Talk to your doctor if you have severe side effects or if the side effects do not go away over time. You can also report unusual side effects to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at 1-800-FDA-1088.

Cialis overdose: In case of an overdose, call your doctor or the poison control center on 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 if a person has collapsed, can’t be awakened, or has had a seizure. Taking too much Cialis can cause a condition known as priapism. This is a painful erection that lasts for 4 hours or longer. Without proper medical care, it can lead to permanent damage to the penile tissues. If this happens, get emergency medical care right away.

NOTE: Cialis is a prescription drug intended for your use only. Never share your medication with others or use someone else’s Cialis tablets.
