What should I tell my health care provider before I take Aczone?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-anemia
-glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
-an unusual or allergic reaction to dapsone, sulfa drugs, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Aczone?

You must visit your doctor or health care provider for regular checks on your progress. If your acne does not get better after 12 weeks, talk to your healthcare provider about other treatments for acne.

Contact your health care provider if you have excessive tiredness or if you have any side effects do not go away or bother you.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 20 and 24 degrees C (68 and 76 degrees F). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Keep container well closed. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
