What side effects may I notice from receiving Glycine?
Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:
-allergic reactions (skin rash, itching or hives; swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
-edema (sudden weight gain; swelling of the ankles, feet, hands or other unusual swelling; trouble breathing)
-high acid levels (trouble breathing; fast, irregular heartbeat; headache; confusion; unusually weak or tired; nausea, vomiting)
-loss of consciousness
-low blood pressure (dizziness; feeling faint or lightheaded, falls; unusually weak or tired)
-pain or tightness in the chest, neck, back, or arms
-seizures
-trouble passing urine
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-back pain
-blurred vision
-dizziness
-dry mouth
-nasal congestion (runny or stuffy nose)
-nausea, vomiting
