How should I use Miconazole?

This medicine is for external use only. Do not take by mouth. Follow the directions on the label. Wash hands before and after use. Cleanse and dry affected area thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area. Do not use your medicine more often than directed. Use this medicine for the full amount of time recommended on the package or by your doctor or health care professional even if you begin to feel better. Do not use for more than 4 weeks without advice.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Miconazole contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Miconazole is only for you. Do not share Miconazole with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
