Warnings
What may interact with BETHKIS?
Do not take this medicine with any of the following medications:
-cidofovir
-cisplatin
-colistin
-ethacrynic acid
-furosemide
-mannitol
-other aminoglycoside antibiotics
-polymyxin
-urea
-vancomycin
-viomycin
This medicine may also interact with the following medications:
-birth control pills
-diuretics
What should I tell my health care provider before I take BETHKIS?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-balance problems
-hearing problems
-kidney disease
-myasthenia gravis
-Parkinson''s disease
-an unusual or allergic reaction to tobramycin, other aminoglycosides or medicines, sulfites, foods, dyes or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding
What should I watch for while using BETHKIS?
Visit your doctor or health care professional as directed. Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.
This medicine may cause a decrease in vitamin B6 and vitamin B12. You should make sure that you get enough vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 while you are taking this medicine. Discuss the foods you eat and the vitamins you take with your health care professional.
Where should I keep my medicine?
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store in the refrigerator between 2 and 8 degrees C (36 and 46 degrees F). You can also store this medicine at room temperature, up to 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) and throw away any unused medicine after 28 days. Protect from light. Do not use if the medicine is cloudy. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
