How should I use Salicylic Acid?

This medicine is for external use only. Follow the directions on the label. Wet hair thoroughly, apply a liberal amount and massage into a rich lather. Allow lather to remain on scalp for several minutes. Rinse hair and repeat application. For best results use at least twice a week or as directed by a doctor. Keep away from eyes or inside mouth or nose. Use this medicine at regular intervals. Do not use more often than directed.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Salicylic Acid contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Salicylic Acid is only for you. Do not share Salicylic Acid with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
