What may interact with MetroGel?

This medicine may interact with the following medications:

-alcohol or any product that contains alcohol
-warfarin

What should I tell my health care provider before I take MetroGel?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-an unusual or allergic reaction to metronidazole, nitroimidazoles, or other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using MetroGel?

Tell your doctor or health care professional if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.

Do not get this medicine in your eyes. If you do, rinse out with plenty of cool tap water.

This medicine can make certain skin conditions worse. Only use it for conditions for which your doctor or health care professional has prescribed.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Do not freeze. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
