Vitamin B6 Drug Class

Vitamin B6 (vit-uh-min B6) is a dietary supplement. It belongs to a group called B vitamins. B6 and other B vitamins play important roles in the body in energy utilization, formation of red blood cells, normal brain development, nervous system function, cognitive function, brain health, immune function, immune system health, and healthy skin. 

Note: Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin and is not stored in the body. It must be obtained from food sources by eating a healthy, balanced diet, or from dietary supplements, if needed.
