What may interact with ALTABAX?

Do not use any other skin products on the same area of skin without talking to your healthcare professional.

This medicine may also interact with the following medications:

-ketoconazole

What should I tell my health care provider before I take ALTABAX?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-an unusual or allergic reaction to retapamulin, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using ALTABAX?

Visit your healthcare professional for regular checks on your progress. Tell your healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.

Do not get this medicine in your eyes. If you do, rinse out with plenty of cool tap water.

This medicine can make certain skin conditions worse. Only use it for conditions for which your healthcare professional has prescribed.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
