Amlodipine Olmesartan (Azor) Side Effects

Possible side effects of amlodipine olmesartan are listed below. Call your doctor for medical advice if they are severe or continue after a few days once your body adjusts to the medicines.

  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Tiredness
  • Swelling in the limbs
  • Stomach pain, upset stomach, nausea
  • Flushing

Amlodipine and olmesartan can also cause some serious side effects. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical help if you develop the following symptoms:

  • Signs of an allergic reaction (skin rash, hives, itching, swelling, difficulty breathing)
  • Frequent, severe, or worsening chest pain
  • Pounding, irregular, or racing heartbeat
  • Fainting
  • Hoarseness
  • Trouble breathing 
  • Severe or chronic diarrhea
  • Weight loss

Amlodipine olmesartan (Azor) Overdose: In case of an overdose of amlodipine olmesartan, call your doctor immediately. You can also call your local poison control center or the national poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 if a person has trouble breathing, has collapsed, is unresponsive, or has had a seizure. Signs and symptoms of an overdose may include dizziness, fainting, and fast or slow heartbeat.
