How should I use AndroGel?

This drug is for external use only. Do not take by mouth. Wash your hands before and after use. Use it as directed on the prescription label, at the same time every day. Do not use it more often than directed. Make sure that you are using your product correctly. Allow the skin to air-dry, then cover with clothing to prevent others from coming in contact with the drug on your skin.
This drug comes with INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. Ask your pharmacist for directions on how to use this drug. Read the information carefully. Talk to your pharmacist or health care provider if you have questions.
A special MedGuide will be given to you by the pharmacist with each prescription and refill. Be sure to read this information carefully each time.
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of AndroGel contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: AndroGel is only for you. Do not share AndroGel with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
