What are benzonatate (Tessalon) doses? 

Benzonatate comes in dosage forms of liquid-filled capsules. It is available as a 100 mg capsule and 200 mg capsule. The usual dose is 100 mg or 200 mg three times a day as needed for cough. The total daily dose of benzonatate should not exceed 600 mg.
