Despite their growing popularity, GLP-1s failed to break into the top ten most commonly filled prescriptions at any of the nation’s leading pharmacy chains in 2023.
Where Can You Save The Most On Prescription Medications For Diabetes And Weight Loss Using BuzzRx?
BuzzRx prescription data showed people are likely to save the most money on their medications for type-2 diabetes and weight loss at CVS than any other major pharmacy brand nationwide. CVS also fills more of these prescriptions nationwide than any other pharmacy brand.
People living with type-2 diabetes and/or obesity have the greatest opportunity for prescription savings on GLP-1s, compared to insulin, medical devices (e.g., blood glucose monitors), and other medications at CVS.
Which States Were Most Likely To Make You Sneeze?
BuzzRx prescription data from 1/1/23 through 6/30/24 showed that Houston, Jacksonville, Chicago, and San Antonio were the top U.S. cities for year-round allergy prescriptions. Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Charlotte were the top U.S. cities for seasonal allergy prescriptions, varying by month.
Who Was Most Impacted By Seasonal Allergies in 2023?
Houston, Texas, was the city most impacted by seasonal allergies in 2023, whereas Florida was the state most impacted. The population that suffers the most from seasonal allergies is females aged 65 and older.
Prednisone And Cetirizine Dominated Allergy Prescriptions And Savings in 2023
Prednisone, cetirizine, loratadine, promethazine, and fexofenadine were the top five allergy prescriptions filled with BuzzRx in 2023. BuzzRx helped its users save $1,537,314 on over 250,000 prednisone prescriptions and $1,553,344 on over 175,000 cetirizine prescriptions.
