Boostrix Side Effects
Possible side effects of Boostrix are listed below. Contact your doctor for medical advice if the suspected adverse reactions are severe.
- Pain, redness, and swelling (local adverse reactions) at the injection site
- Mild fever
- Headache
- Tiredness
- Gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomachache
In a small number of people, Boostrix (Tdap vaccine) can cause more serious side effects. Contact your healthcare provider right away or seek emergency medical help if you experience any of the following signs and symptoms of a severe allergic reaction:
- Skin rash, hives, itching
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath
- Flushing
- Dizziness
