Denta 5000 Plus Risks, Warnings, and Complications

Denta 5000 Plus can cause serious health problems in some people. Talk to your health care professional or pharmacist about other caries preventive treatments if you are at high risk of complications from Denta 5000 Plus.

  • ALLERGIC REACTIONS: Allergic reactions to Denta 5000 Plus are rare. However, seek emergency medical attention if you develop serious symptoms like difficulty breathing or swallowing, or other effects like skin rash, hives, and itching after using this product.

  • DENTAL FLUOROSIS IN CHILDREN: Do not use Denta 5000 Plus in a child under 6 years of age without a doctor’s approval. Ingestion of this product over a prolonged period of time can lead to dental fluorosis in children because the teeth are developing under the gums. The risk of dental fluorosis is especially high if fluoridation in drinking water is high. Keep in mind that younger children frequently cannot brush their teeth properly without swallowing significant amounts of toothpaste.
