Dorzolamide-Timolol (Cosopt) Side Effects
Possible side effects of dorzolamide-timolol are listed below. Tell your doctor if these side effects are severe or persist after a few days.
- Temporary eye irritation (eye itching, burning, stinging, or discomfort)
- Dry eye
- Excessive tearing
- Dizziness
- Sour, bitter, or unusual taste
Rarely, dorzolamide and timolol can cause more serious side effects. Contact your doctor for medical advice about side effects or seek emergency medical help if you develop:
- Blurred vision or decreased vision
- Pink eye
- Redness or swelling of an eyelid
- Unusual or allergic reaction (skin rash, skin pain, hives, itching)
- Swelling of the hands, lower legs, ankles, or feet
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Muscle weakness or muscle pain

Dorzolamide-timolol (Cosopt) Overdose: In case of an overdose, contact your doctor immediately. You can also call the National Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222. If a person cannot be awakened, has trouble breathing, has collapsed, or has had a seizure, call 911. Signs and symptoms of an overdose may include headache, dizziness, difficulty breathing or swallowing, shortness of breath, chest pain, and confusion.
