Entresto Side Effects

Common side effects of Entresto are listed below. Tell your healthcare provider if these symptoms are severe or do not go away after a few days.

  • Cough
  • Extreme fatigue

Rarely, Entresto can cause more severe adverse reactions. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical help if you experience symptoms such as:

  • Rash, itching, hives; swelling of the face, throat, mouth, tongue, or lips; difficulty breathing (these may be signs and symptoms of a severe allergic reaction)
  • High potassium levels (symptoms may include slow heartbeat, muscle weakness or twitching, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and stomach pain)
  • Low blood pressure (symptoms may include dizziness, weakness, blurred vision, confusion, fainting)

The above list may not include all the potential side effects of Entresto. Call your doctor if you experience any severe or unusual symptoms. You can also report unusual side effects to the Food and Drug Administration at 1-800-FDA-1088.

Entresto Overdose: In case of a known or suspected overdose, immediately call your doctor or the local poison control center. If the person can’t be awakened, has had a seizure, or has trouble breathing, call 911. 

NOTE: Entresto is a prescription medicine used for heart failure treatment. Never share your prescription medicine with others or use someone else’s Entresto.
