How should I use Extina?
This medicine is for external use only. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Wash your hands before and after use. Do not apply this directly to hands. Hold can upright and release onto a cool surface. Apply to the affected areas using the fingertips. Rub this medicine into affected skin until the medicine disappears. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, nose or other areas of sensitive skin. If contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water. Use your medicine at regular intervals. Finish the full course prescribed by your doctor or health care professional even if you think your condition is better. Do not stop using except on the advice of your doctor or health care professional.
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this medicine may be prescribed for children as young as 12 years of age for selected conditions, precautions do apply.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Extina contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Extina is only for you. Do not share Extina with others.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
