How To Use Allegra

Allegra is available in the form of a tablet, dissolvable tablet, and oral suspension. You should take the tablet once or twice a day with water. Do not take with fruit juices as this can make the medicine less effective. 

If you are taking Allegra oral suspension, shake the bottle well before use. Use a dose measuring cup or spoon, rather than a household spoon, to measure the dose carefully. 

Take your medication at around the same time every day. Read the package instructions carefully for the correct dose. Do not take more Allegra or take it more frequently than indicated on the package. 

Allegra helps to relieve allergy symptoms but does not cure the condition. You should continue taking this allergy medicine regularly until your worst allergy symptoms are better. Waiting too long between doses can make your symptoms worse.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose of Allegra, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose as scheduled. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store Allegra at controlled room temperature (between 20–25°C (68–77°F) away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Do not store medications in the bathroom where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep all medications safely out of reach of children and pets.

Unused medicine: Unused Allegra tablets and liquid should be disposed of in a way that children, other people, and pets cannot consume them. Do not flush medications down the toilet.
