How To Use Integra Plus

Integra Plus comes in the form of a capsule that can be taken by mouth. You should take it between meals. However, if it causes an upset stomach, you can take it after meals. The medicine is best absorbed if you take it at bedtime. 

Read the prescription label carefully and take Integra Plus exactly as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage (take larger or more frequent doses) without talking to your healthcare provider.

Read the labels of all your over-the-counter dietary supplements. Many supplements contain iron and multiple vitamins. Taking multiple iron-containing products can lead to too much iron in the body, which can be harmful.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose of Integra Plus, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose according to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose or extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store Integra Plus at room temperature between 15-30° C or 59-86° F, away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Do not store medications in bathroom cabinets where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep Integra Plus and all medications safely out of reach of children. Accidental iron poisoning is the leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. In case of an accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

Unused medicine: Dispose of unused Integra Plus in a way that children, other people, and pets cannot get to them. Do not throw Integra Plus in the trash or toilet.
