How To Use L-Methylfolate Calcium

L-methylfolate calcium comes in the form of a tablet to take by mouth once or twice daily. You can take this medicine with or without food. Try to take it at around the same time every day.

Read the prescription label carefully and take the medicine exactly as prescribed. Do not change the dose or dosing frequency without your doctor’s approval.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose of L-methylfolate calcium, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose according to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose or extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store L-methylfolate calcium at room temperature between 15-30° C or 59-86° F, away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Do not store medications in bathroom cabinets where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep all medications safely out of reach of children and pets.
