  • You only need to inject Lantus once daily.
  • It comes as a vial and prefilled pen.
  • Lantus is approved for use in adult and pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.

  • There is a risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) with insulin therapies.
