What may interact with Lysteda ?

Do not take this medicine with any of the following medications:

-estrogens
-birth control pills, patches, injections, rings or other devices that contain both an estrogen and a progestin

This medicine may also interact with the following medications:

-certain medicines used to help your blood clot
-tretinoin (taken by mouth)

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Lysteda ?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-bleeding in the brain
-blood clotting problems
-kidney disease
-vision problems
-an unusual allergic reaction to tranexamic acid, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Lysteda ?

Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.

Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if you notice any eye problems while taking this medicine. Your doctor will refer you to an eye doctor who will examine your eyes.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
