Midodrine Side Effects
Possible side effects of midodrine are listed below. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects if they are severe or do not go away in a few days.
- Sensations of numbness and tingling
- Itching of the scalp
- Chills
- Goosebumps
- Urinary retention or trouble urinating
- Urinary urgency and frequency
- Stomach pain
- Rash
Rarely, midodrine can cause more serious side effects. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical help if you develop:
- Severe dizziness
- Fainting
- Slowed heartbeat

Midodrine Overdose: In case of an overdose of midodrine, call your doctor immediately or call your local poison control center, provincial poison control center, or national poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If a person has collapsed, stopped responding, stopped breathing, or had a seizure, call 911.
