How should I use Mirapex ER?

Take this medicine by mouth with water. Take it as directed on the prescription label at the same time every day. You can take it with or without food. If it upsets your stomach, take it with food. Do not cut, crush or chew this medicine. Keep taking this medicine unless your health care provider tells you to stop. Stopping it too quickly can cause serious side effects. It can also make your condition worse.
Talk to your health care provider about the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Mirapex ER contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Mirapex ER is only for you. Do not share Mirapex ER with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
