Moxifloxacin (Vigamox) Uses

Moxifloxacin ophthalmic solution is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, such as pink eye (bacterial conjunctivitis).

Moxifloxacin (Vigamox) Mechanism of Action

Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It works by killing certain bacteria that cause eye infections.

Moxifloxacin (Vigamox) Doses

The usual dose of moxifloxacin ophthalmic solution (Vigamox) is 1 drop in the affected eye 3 times a day (every 8 hours) for 7 days. The Moxeza brand is used 2 times a day (every 12 hours) for 7 days.
