How should I use Naftifine Hydrochloride?

This medicine is for external use only. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Wash hands before and after use. If treating hand or nail infections, only wash hands before use. Apply enough medicine to cover the affected skin or nail and surrounding area. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless directed to do so by your doctor or health care professional. Do not get this medicine in your eyes. If you do, rinse out with plenty of cool tap water. Do not use your medicine more often than directed. Use your doses at regular intervals. Finish the full course prescribed by your doctor or health care professional even if you think your condition is better. Do not stop using except on your doctor''s advice.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this drug may be prescribed for children as young as 2 years of age for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Naftifine Hydrochloride contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Naftifine Hydrochloride is only for you. Do not share Naftifine Hydrochloride with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
