Neomycin-Polymyxin B-Dexamethasone (Maxitrol) Mechanism of Action

Neomycin and polymyxin B are antibiotics that stop the growth of bacteria on the surface of the eye. Dexamethasone is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid which helps in reducing swelling, redness, and inflammation in the infected eye.
