BuzzRx® CMO Jordan Sessler Joins Make-A-Wish Metro New York Junior Board
March 15, 2020 -- Congratulations to our Chief Marketing Officer Jordan Sessler for being admitted to the Make-A-Wish® Metro New York Junior Board of Advisors!
The Make-A-Wish Metro New York Junior Board is comprised of professionals under the age of 40 who are dedicated to supporting and promoting the Make-A-Wish mission through active engagement as volunteer leaders and in mission activities. Their focus is to provide leadership support for fundraising efforts, recruit prospective leaders, help in the strategic planning efforts of the organization, and increase awareness of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York Community in which the members live and work. The Board represents diverse industries, bringing the best of New York City together to help make wishes come true. Now, one of those newly appointed members is Jordan Sessler, BuzzRx® Chief Marketing Officer.
Jordan has shown his commitment to Make-A-Wish America by helping establish a free prescription discount card program benefitting their organization. Every time someone saves on a prescription using the special card, a donation is made to Make-A-Wish America, at no cost to the cardholder. This program has helped grant hundreds of wishes, inspiring hope, strength, and joy for children with critical illnesses. When he reached out to the local chapter looking for ways to get more personally involved, they suggested he apply for the position.
Now, Jordan will be taking his marketing expertise and insights from this program to help improve fundraising efforts for Make-A-Wish Metro New York. One of the areas that he will be addressing is direct mail. Throughout Jordan’s career, he’s been able to make use of this marketing channel to reach millions of people in need of affordable prescriptions. As a direct response expert, he will help extend the reach of Make-A-Wish Metro New York to raise more funds for wish kids.
In addition to bringing his business proficiency to the table, Jordan will also become a wish granter. This means pairing up with another volunteer and interviewing wish kids about their one true wish. Through this process, he will get to play an important role in the transformative power of a wish and witness firsthand that wishes aren’t just nice—they’re necessary.
We are so proud that Jordan will be working with Make-A-Wish in this new capacity to further their mission and help even more wish kids.
