How To Use NP Thyroid

Take NP Thyroid once a day before breakfast. Try to take your thyroid medications at around the same time every day. 

Read the prescription label carefully and take NP Thyroid exactly as prescribed. Do not take a higher or lower dose or take it more or less frequently than advised by your healthcare provider.

Your provider will start you on a lower dose of NP Thyroid and gradually increase the dose based on clinical and laboratory evidence of thyroid function. It may take several weeks before you notice an improvement in your underactive thyroid symptoms. 

NP Thyroid can help to treat hypothyroidism but does not cure the condition. You will require thyroid replacement therapy lifelong to control hypothyroidism. Do not stop taking your thyroid medicine without talking to your healthcare provider.

Missed dose: If you forget a dose of NP Thyroid, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose according to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store NP Thyroid at room temperature (between 15-30° C or 59-86° F) away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Do not store medications in the bathroom, where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep all medications safely out of reach of children and pets.

Unused medicine: Unused or expired NP Thyroid should be disposed of in a way that children, other people, and pets cannot get to them. Do not throw NP Thyroid in the trash or flush it down the toilet.
