What are nystatin side effects?

Common side effects of nystatin are listed below. Tell your doctor if these adverse effects persist or are severe.

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach bloating
• Stomach pain

Nystatin can also cause more serious adverse reactions in a small number of people. Call your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical attention if you experience:

• Burning or irritation in the mouth
• Hives, rash, itching, or other signs of allergic reactions
• Difficulty breathing or swallowing
