Olopatadine Side Effects
Possible side effects of olopatadine eye drops are listed below. Tell your doctor if these side effects are severe or do not go away in a few days.
- Common cold symptoms
- Headache
- Temporary blurred vision
- Temporary eye irritation (burning, stinging, redness)
- Dry eyes
- Abnormal sensations in the eyes
- Changes in taste
Rarely, olopatadine can cause more serious side effects. Contact your doctor immediately if you have the following symptoms:
- Eye pain
- Vision changes
- Eye itching that gets worse or continues after 3 days of using this medicine

Olopatadine Overdose: If you have used too much of this ophthalmic solution, call your local poison control center or the national poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the adverse effects are severe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
