- Dry mouth due to a mild anti-cholinergic action
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Blurred vision
- Headache
- Upset stomach
- Constipation
- Vomiting
- Trouble with urination
- Some of the adverse reactions of orphenadrine are more serious. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical help if you develop the following serious symptoms:
- Skin rash
- Fast heart rate
- Mental confusion
- Fainting
- Hallucinations

Orphenadrine citrate ER Overdose: The minimum lethal dose of orphenadrine is 2-3 grams. In case of an overdose of orphenadrine, call your doctor immediately. You can also call your local poison control center, provincial poison control center, or the national poison control center on 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 if someone has collapsed, stopped responding, stopped breathing, or had a seizure. Orphenadrine toxicity symptoms may include emergent anticholinergic effects such as fast heartbeat, urinary retention, blurry vision, unusual excitement, stupor, or convulsions. An overdose may require hospitalization for appropriate supportive treatment.
