  • Avoid drinking alcohol while on this medicine. Alcohol can make the side effects worse.

  • Monitor your blood pressure while on this medicine and tell your doctor if you notice high readings.

  • If you take medications for diabetes, talk to your doctor about adjusting the doses of phendimetrazine tartrate during treatment. Tell your doctor if you develop symptoms of low blood sugar, such as dizziness, sweating, shakiness, and palpitations.

  • Do not take other appetite suppressants while on this medicine.
