How should I use Polyethylene Glycol 3350?

Take this medicine by mouth. Take it as directed on the label. Add the right dose to 4 to 8 ounces or 120 to 240 mL of water, juice, soda, coffee or tea. Do not mix this medicine with foods or other liquids. Do not combine with starch-based thickeners (e.g., flour, cornstarch, arrowroot, tapioca, xanthan gum). Mix well. Drink the solution. Do not use it more often than directed.
Talk to your health care provider about the use of this medicine in children. While it may be given to children as young as 16 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Polyethylene Glycol 3350 contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Polyethylene Glycol 3350 is only for you. Do not share Polyethylene Glycol 3350 with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
