How should I use Prograf?

Take this medicine by mouth. Take it as directed on the prescription label at the same time every day, 12 hours apart. Do not skip doses. Mix the granules in water using a glass or metal cup. Take the prepared mixture right away. Do not save for later use. Be sure to take the entire dose. You can take it with or without food. You should always take it the same way. Keep taking it unless your health care provider tells you to stop.
Do not take this medicine with grapefruit juice.
Handling this medicine may be harmful. Wash your hands before and after touching the medicine. Talk to your health care provider about how to handle this medicine. Special instructions may apply.
This medicine comes with INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. Ask your pharmacist for directions on how to use this medicine. Read the information carefully. Talk to your pharmacist or health care provider if you have questions.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Prograf contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Prograf is only for you. Do not share Prograf with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
