How should I use Ramelteon?

Take this medicine by mouth with water. Take it as directed on the prescription label and only when you are ready for bed. Do not cut or break this medicine. Swallow the tablets whole. Do not take it with or right after a meal.
A special MedGuide will be given to you by the pharmacist with each prescription and refill. Be sure to read this information carefully each time.
Talk to your health care provider about the use of this medicine in children. It is not approved for use in children.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Ramelteon contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Ramelteon is only for you. Do not share Ramelteon with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
