Side Effects
What side effects may I notice from receiving Reglan?
Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:
-allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
-abnormal production of milk
-breast enlargement in both males and females
-change in sex drive or performance
-depressed mood
-menstrual changes
-restlessness, pacing, inability to keep still
-signs and symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) like confusion; fast, irregular heartbeat; high fever; increased sweating; uncontrollable head, mouth, neck, arm, or leg movements; stiff muscles
-seizures
-suicidal thoughts, mood changes
-swelling of the ankles, feet, hands
-tremor
-uncontrollable movements of the face, head, mouth, neck, arms, legs, or upper body
-unusually weak or tired
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-dizziness
-drowsiness
-headache
-tiredness
