Do not take this medicine with any of the following medications:
-sevelamer
This medicine may also interact with the following medications:
-certain medicines for blood pressure like diazoxide, guanethidine, hydralazine, methyldopa
-other sodium or phosphorus supplements
-steroid medicines like cortisone, fludrocortisone
What should I tell my health care provider before I take Sodium Phosphate, Dibasic, Sodium Phosphate, Monobasic?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-heart disease
-high blood pressure
-high levels of sodium or phosphorus in the blood
-kidney disease
-low salt or sodium diet
-an unusual or allergic reaction to sodium, phosphorus, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding
What should I watch for while using Sodium Phosphate, Dibasic, Sodium Phosphate, Monobasic?
Your condition will be monitored carefully while you are receiving this medicine.
You may need blood work done while receiving this medicine.
Where should I keep my medicine?
This drug is given in a hospital or clinic and will not be stored at home.
