How should I use Thiotepa?

This drug is given as an infusion into a vein. It may also be given into the bladder or into a body cavity. It is administered in a hospital or clinic by a specially trained health care professional.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this drug may be prescribed for children as young as 1 month for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Thiotepa contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Thiotepa is only for you. Do not share Thiotepa with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
