How To Use Torsemide (Soaanz)

Take torsemide (Soaanz) tablets once a day by mouth as prescribed. You can take this medicine at any time of the day, with or without food. However, avoid taking it within 4 hours of bedtime as this may cause you to wake up to urinate at night. 

Read the prescription label carefully and take torsemide exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not decrease or increase your dose or change the dosing frequency unless your doctor tells you to.  

Torsemide will only treat edema (excess fluid) or high blood pressure as long as you continue taking it. Do not stop treatment with this medicine, even if you are symptom-free, without talking to your doctor first.

Missed dose: If you miss a dose of torsemide, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose according to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose or extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store torsemide between 15-30° C or 59-86° F (at room temperature) away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Do not store medications in the bathroom where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep all medications safely out of reach of children and pets.

Unused medicine: Unused torsemide should be disposed of in a way that children, other people, and pets cannot consume them. Do not flush torsemide down the toilet.
