How should I take Xyzal (levocetirizine)?

Take Xyzal by mouth once a day in the evening. You can take this medicine with or without food. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. If you take the oral solution, measure liquid medicine carefully with a medicine dose-measuring device.

Follow the prescription label or medicine label instructions for the correct Xyzal dosage and frequency. Take your medicine at around the same time every day. Do not take more or less medication or take it more or less frequently than advised by your doctor or indicated on the medicine package.

Missed dose: If you forget to take a dose of Xyzal, take the medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store Xyzal at room temperature (between 15-30° C or 59-86° F) away from moisture, heat, and direct light in a tightly closed container. Keep Xyzal and all your other medicines out of reach of children and pets.
