• You can take Xyzal with or without food.
• If Xyzal makes you drowsy or tired, take the medicine in the evening before bed.
• To measure the dose of the Xyzal oral solution, use the dosing syringe provided by your pharmacist and not a kitchen spoon. This will ensure an accurate and same dose size every time. 
• If your allergy symptoms are not adequately controlled on Xyzal, talk to your healthcare provider about other options. 
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose of 5 mg daily.
