Fluorometholone (FML) Tips from Pharmacists

• Wash your hands with soap and water before and after using fluorometholone.

• To prevent contamination, avoid touching the dropper tip or ointment tube tip to your eye or any other surface. Do not rinse or wipe the dropper after use.

• Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 2 days of using this medicine.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using fluorometholone and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them. 

• Fluorometholone can cause temporary blurred vision. Do not drive or perform other hazardous activities until you can see clearly.
