Lidocaine Prilocaine Drug Class

LISINOPRIL (lye sin oh pril) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor or ACE inhibitor. It is a prescription oral medication that is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and congestive heart failure. Lisinopril has also been shown to improve life expectancy post-myocardial infarction (after a heart attack).

There may be other uses of lisinopril—your pharmacist or physician can give you further information.

Lidocaine Prilocaine Age Range

Lidocaine prilocaine is approved for use in adults and children. This medication should be used with caution in infants below 3 months of age as it can increase the risk of methemoglobinemia (a rare blood disorder, also called blue baby syndrome).
