What is Lovenox?

Lovenox (Enoxaparin sodium) injection is an anticoagulant (blood thinner). Lovenox effectively prevents and treats blood clots in your veins (deep vein thrombosis) that can lead to pulmonary embolism (PE), which are blood blots in the lungs.  

Lovenox therapy is also used for the prevention and treatment of heart attacks.
