Microgestin Fe Drug Class

Norethindrone Acetate; Ethinyl Estradiol; Ferrous Fumarate (nor eth in drone; eth in il es tra dye ole; fer us fue ma rate) belongs to a group of medications called progestin-estrogen combined contraceptives. These are oral contraceptives (birth control pills) used to prevent pregnancy. 

Microgestin Fe Age Range

Microgestin Fe is generally used in women of reproductive age. The safety and efficacy of this medication are expected to be similar for postpubertal adolescents under the age of 16 and for users 16 years and older. 

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children before menarche.
