Hydrocortisone-Pramoxine (Analpram Hc) Side Effects
Hydrocortisone and pramoxine can cause the following local adverse reactions: Burning, stinging, itching, irritation, and dryness in the treated area. Call your doctor if severe irritation develops.
Other possible side effects of hydrocortisone pramoxine are listed below. Call your doctor for medical advice if the side effects are severe.
- Miliaria (pus-filled bumps)
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Muscle weakness
- Mood changes
- Sleep problems
- Slowed wound healing
- Irregular or absent menstrual periods
- Thinning skin
- Acne
- Unexpected hair growth
- Changes in body fat distribution
- Increased sweating
Some of the adverse reactions of hydrocortisone pramoxine use are more serious. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical attention if you develop:
- Bleeding in the affected area
- Skin rash, hives, itching,
- Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue, throat, hands, or feet
- Hoarseness
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Unusual weakness
- Vision changes
- Depression

Hydrocortisone pramoxine (Analpram Hc) Overdose: In case someone ingests a hydrocortisone pramoxine topical formulation, call your doctor immediately. You can also call your local poison control center, provincial poison control center, or the national poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 or emergency services if a person has collapsed, cannot breathe, has had a seizure, or cannot be awakened.
